The United States Postal Service (USPS) has issued a proposed rule that would drastically change how it handles mail-in ballots. This rule would cause widespread voter disenfranchisement across both Texas and the rest of the nation.

The work we are advancing in Texas helps shape how civil rights issues are understood across the country. The Texas Civil Rights Project partners with community members, advocates, organizations, and leaders to defend fundamental rights and strengthen accountability through the courts, policy advocacy, and public engagement.
